Rocketdog Report Week 3
The Rocketdog Report
Week 3
I must admit, the Week 1 gathering at Bartlett Bungalo was a good time!
Week 3 is in the books and September football is done.
Autumn is here and we all know The Autumn Wind is a Raider!
Division Leaders
Once again the leaders are a Dog a Bunny and a Raider Cheerleader
In the Las Vegas Division - Snoopy n the Gang takes the alpha dog role from Rocketdog to lead the AWFFL at 3-0 and 388.16 total points.
In an odd Week 2 & Week 3 matchup, Snoopy faced off again against The Proud Mom. It looks like The Proud Mom heard the disappointment from Week 2 and decided to fill up her starting lineup but it wasn't quite enough. Snoopy caught the wave to defeat the Proud Mom 136.52 to 134.94. Ohana means family and Snoopy n the Gang showed his gratitude by saying Mahalo nui loa for the back to back games.
In the Oakland Division - Raider Bunny is getting comfortable leading the division on top of Mount Davis at 3-0 and 362.42 total points.
Historically, the Raider Bunny team has had a good number of Raiders in the starting lineup but not this year. I'm sensing some distrust in the management of the Raiders as Raider Bunny is showing her intelligent defiance. Three AFC West Raider Rivals on her starting lineup scored 106.56 and led her team to a 148.66 to 100.18 dismantling of straight up, keeping her in the lead of the Division and sending her opponent straight down the standings.
| Raider Bunny's Hole |
In the Los Angeles Division - Another big week for Raiderettes keeps her in charge of LA at 2-1 and an impressive 421.40 total points.
If Scarface Tony Montana was playing fantasy football he might have made a vicious move like this. Raiderettes sat Miami QB Tua T. leaving 37.36 points on her bench. Instead, against the Eagle fan of the AWFFL, she keeps in her Eagle QB at the top of her starting roster and an Eagle Defense at the bottom. Beat an eagle with an eagle. Waka put up a fight but Raiderettes came back with a "I kill a communist for fun, but for a green eagle fan, I gonna carve him up real nice" Raiderettes carved up Waka Flacco Flame with his own players 166.68 to 155.06.
Top Player of the Season: 49.46 Keenan Allen
The 44.50 points by a single player has been beat in Week 3. Wide Receiver Keenan Allen with Raider Bunny scored an impressive 49.46 points to take the top spot. His 18 receptions and 215 receiving yards were a big part of those points but he did not catch a single touchdown, the surprise was his 49 yard touchdown pass.
The Surprises, Underdogs and Big Performances
Pump up the Spice, Pumpkin Spice season is here and so is Starbucks Addict. With Seattle barista RB Kenneth Walker serving up 30.60 points and then Vegas barista WR Devante Adams serving up 42.20 points, the Addict collected enough Bonus Stars to defeat Rocketdog 22 198.30 to 155.28.
Another Big Performance came from the Bills Defense with 40.20 points for Darth Raider. Leahs Boyfriend has faced Leahs Tio's for three weeks in a row. I hope the message is clear, the Tios are the watchdogs. You messed with one in Week 1 and we've been backing him up week after week. Leahs Tio, Darth Raider gives a stern 143.16 to 112.56 defeat to Leahs Boyfriend.
Next up for Leahs Boyfriend, Leahs Tia.
The underdogs
Amandas Boyfriend was supposed to lose to Blade 114.15 to 118.13. Blade was probably expecting to ride the Swifty wave with Mahomes passing to Kelce and he did but the QB's were not the story in this underdog win. "Amari Copper Baby"that's the story. The WR matchup in this game was the difference maker, with Amari Cooper leading Amandas Boyfriend to a 122.92 to 121.48 victory.
Already mentioned underdogs make me wonder what type of AI malfunciton was going on.
Oakland Division Leader, Raider Bunny was supposed to lose to straight up 108.35 to 125.52 but that did not happen.
Los Angeles Division Leader, Raiderettes was supposed to lose to Waka Flacco Flame, 108.00 to 115.68 and that didn't happen either.
Be careful with these AI predictions, they can give you false hope and it's already been proven that anything can happen but sometimes they do get it right.
Robbin Dubs was supposed to rob that W from Gill dos Ocho 121.31 to 117.82. While there were some incorrect player predictions the actual outcome was close to the prediction with Robbin Dubs beating Gill dos Ocho 123.56 to 112.48.
Disappointments
The dreaded injury designations continue to plague the NFL.
IR
SUS
PUP
Remember, if your player has an IR designation, you don't need to drop him to make room on your roster, you can move up to two players into your Reserve Roster.
The Fan Report
The Eagles won to stay at 3-0
The Cowboys lost and go to 2-1
The Raiders lost and go to 1-2
