Getting straight to the point with the Division Leaders
In the Las Vegas Division - Leahs Boyfriend starts out 1-0 with 135.54 points.
This former NY Giant fan reached back to the rivalry days to beat down our leagues only Cowboy fan, Gill Dos Ocho. The NY Jets played favorites and gifted Leahs Boyfriend with 39.70 Defense points, while Jets WR Mecole Hardman did an impressive job of keeping the bench warm and giving Leahs Tio 0.00 points.
In the Oakland Division - Raider Bunny starts out 1-0 with 103.32 points.
The Bunny came out strong to defeat the defending AWFFL Champion Blade. This looked like an AFC QB battle between Mahomes and Herbert but it really was the Green Bay Defense with 34.40 points that tarnished the shine on Blades start to defend the title.
In the Los Angeles Division - Raiderettes starts out 1-0 with a league leading 146.10 points.
When your team gets over 140 points, then you know that you have a well choreographed team performing, and the Raiderettes were so in in-step and in-tune that she didn't even use her two top performers. I guess she's resting them for the playoffs. Fear and Anger lead to the path of the dark side, Darth Raider played like a team headed down that path of fear (of another losing season).
Top Player of the Season
No matter what your record is at the end of the season, you still can make the AWFFL Hall of Fame if you have the best player performance of the year.
The Proud Mom must be proud that she played Tyreek HIll. With 44.50 points, the bar is set high!
The Surprises, Underdogs and Big Performances
#1 Week 1 was full of star players who scored 30 or more points but gave teams no points because they were left on the bench. Keep an eye out on your bench, it looks like the underdogs are ready to take the stage!
#2 The Defenses are standing up and speaking loud! There were 7 defenses that scored more than 25 points.
Underdogs in the AWFFL
Ask Chat GPT: "What happens when "A-I" is wrong?
The teams that said, screw you NFL App! Take your "A-I" prediction of a loss and go figure out your major malfunction (numb nut).
Starbucks Addict was predicted to lose to Amandas Boyfriend 112.89 to 125.44. MAJOR MALFUNCTION - You can't contain a triple espresso shot, not even in Sin City. Starbucks Addict wins 115.32 to 101.84.
To catch a thief. Robbin Dubs was predicted to lose to Waka Flacco Flame 109.57 to 121.82. Go ahead and ask siri if that happened. "Okay, this is what I found, Robbin Dubs stole that W from Waka Flacco Flame to win 100.32 to 90.06."
Ask Alexa were there any other underdog wins. "In the AWFFL, Raider Bunny was predicted to lose to Blade 91.28 to 117.88 but that did not happen."
Disappointments
Aaron Achilles Rodgers. I don't need to say much more, but I will. Sunday was a roller coaster. Rocketdog 22 had a decent game and had the lead but Tyreek Hills 44 points looked like the end for Rocketdog. Aaron Rodgers could definitely get the 16 points needed for Proud Mom to win. We all know what went down next and Rocketdog 22 was able to hang on for the win 115.58 to 107.40. Remember, when you reach 40 years old, stretching before any type of exercise is very very very, important.
Blame it on the Jager. If affects people differently and in Week 1, The Jager was straight up brutal. You can't expect to win if three players don't score at all. After winning 126.32 to 84.86, Snoopy n the Gang woke up feeling great, while Straight Up was grateful to have Monday off.
The Fan Report
The three teams represented in the AWFFL are the Raiders, the Cowboys and the Eagles.
All three teams start the season 1-0!
